How to Calculate GWA
GWA (General Weighted Average) is calculated by multiplying each subject grade by its number of units, summing the products, and dividing by the total number of units. In the Philippine system, 1.00 is the highest grade and 5.00 is failing. A GWA of 1.00-1.75 is typically considered excellent.
