📈 Mean, Median, Mode Calculator
Calculate the mean, median, and mode of a data set.
Mean, Median, and Mode Explained
Mean is the arithmetic average (sum / count). Median is the middle value when data is sorted. Mode is the most frequently occurring value. Together, these three measures of central tendency describe where the center of a data set lies.
When to Use Each Measure
Use the mean for symmetric data without outliers. Use the median when data is skewed or has outliers (like income data). Use the mode for categorical data or to find the most common value. The range (max - min) measures data spread.
