⚡ Ohm's Law Calculator
Calculate voltage, current, or resistance using Ohm's Law (V = I x R). Also displays power dissipation.
Understanding Ohm's Law
Ohm's Law states that the voltage across a conductor is directly proportional to the current flowing through it: V = I × R, where V is voltage in volts, I is current in amperes, and R is resistance in ohms.
Power dissipation can also be calculated from these values: P = V × I, P = I² × R, or P = V² / R. This is critical for selecting appropriately rated components.
