How to Calculate Paint Needed
Measure the total wall area by adding the perimeter of the room and multiplying by the ceiling height. Subtract about 21 sq ft per door and 15 sq ft per window. One gallon of paint typically covers about 350 square feet. Multiply by the number of coats for total coverage needed.
