🎲 Probability Calculator
Calculate basic probability, combinations (nCr), and permutations (nPr).
Basic Probability
Probability is calculated as favorable outcomes divided by total possible outcomes, giving a value between 0 and 1. A probability of 0 means impossible, and 1 means certain. For example, the probability of rolling a 6 on a standard die is 1/6.
Combinations and Permutations
Combinations (nCr) count the ways to choose r items from n items where order does not matter: n! / (r!(n-r)!). Permutations (nPr) count arrangements where order matters: n! / (n-r)!. For example, choosing 3 people from 10 gives C(10,3) = 120 combinations.
