The Widmark Formula
BAC is estimated using the Widmark formula: BAC = (alcohol in grams / (body weight in grams x r)) - (0.015 x hours), where r is the gender constant (0.68 for males, 0.55 for females). One standard drink contains approximately 14 grams of alcohol.
