🩸 Blood Type Calculator
Predict a child's possible blood types from the parents' blood types using Punnett square genetics.
How Blood Type Inheritance Works
Blood type is determined by the ABO gene, which has three alleles: A, B, and O. A and B are co-dominant, while O is recessive. Each parent contributes one allele. The Rh factor (+ or -) is determined separately, with + being dominant over -.
Possible Combinations
Two type-A parents can have a type-O child (if both carry the O allele). Two type-O parents can only have type-O children. Type-AB parents always pass either A or B to their children.
