How to Calculate Drywall Sheets Needed
Measure the total wall area (total linear feet of walls times ceiling height). Subtract approximately 21 sq ft per door and 15 sq ft per window. Divide the net area by 32 (the square footage of a standard 4×8 sheet) and round up. Add 10% for waste.
