🔍 PPI Calculator
Calculate pixels per inch (PPI) from screen resolution and display size. Determine pixel density for any screen.
What Is PPI?
Pixels per inch (PPI) measures the pixel density of a display. It is calculated as the diagonal resolution in pixels divided by the diagonal screen size in inches. Higher PPI means sharper, more detailed images on screen.
Common PPI Values
A typical desktop monitor runs around 90-110 PPI, while Retina displays reach 220+ PPI. Smartphones often exceed 400 PPI. Print quality typically requires 300 PPI (often called DPI in print contexts).
