⏱️ Time-Lapse Calculator
Calculate total frames, clip duration, and interval for time-lapse photography.
How Time-Lapse Works
A time-lapse compresses a long shooting session into a short video clip. The total number of frames equals the shooting duration divided by the interval between shots. The final clip length is the total frames divided by the playback frame rate.
Planning Your Time-Lapse
For a 10-second clip at 24fps, you need 240 frames. With a 5-second interval, that requires 20 minutes of shooting. Shorter intervals capture faster motion (clouds, traffic), while longer intervals work for slower subjects (plants growing, construction).
